Gracie Abrams Brings Romeo + Juliet to SNL, Previews Deluxe Album
She played Juliet, then Romeo, on Saturday Night Live’s Halloween episode — and gave the deluxe edition of Daughter From Hell its first live hearing.

Gracie Abrams came back to Saturday Night Live on Saturday night, and she brought Baz Luhrmann with her. She was the musical guest on the show's Halloween episode, hosted by Inde Navarrette, and she built both of her performances around Luhrmann's 1996 film Romeo + Juliet.
She opened with "Hit The Wall," the lead single and opening track from her third album, Daughter From Hell. She wore Claire Danes's Juliet costume from the film's fancy-dress party scene: the angel wings. She began the song standing behind an aquarium, recreating the moment Juliet and Leonardo DiCaprio's Romeo first see each other through a fish tank.
She came back later in the episode as Romeo. She wore his Hawaiian shirt and the metallic sleeves from his knight's costume, and she sang "Here You Come, There You Go." The song came out on Thursday. It is the first of five new tracks on the deluxe edition of Daughter From Hell, due November 20 via Interscope.
Five more songs, then the arena tour
The deluxe edition adds five songs to the original 16, for a 21-track album. Alongside "Here You Come, There You Go," the additions are "Lost In It," "Crazy Girl," "Love Letter" and "Out Of Nowhere." "Crazy Girl" had only been available on vinyl until now. "Love Letter" and "Out Of Nowhere" had been download-only bonus tracks.
The original album came out July 17. Abrams made it with longtime collaborator Aaron Dessner of The National. It became her first album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and it topped the charts in the UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland and New Zealand.
Saturday's appearance was her second time as an SNL musical guest. The first was in December 2024, when she sang "That's So True" and "I Love You, I'm Sorry" from her second album, The Secret Of Us.
The deluxe edition lands just before her next tour. The Look At My Life Tour starts December 2 at Ball Arena in Denver and runs into March 2027. It reaches the UK and Ireland next spring, with four nights at London's O2 Arena. Rachel Chinouriri, Holly Humberstone, Del Water Gap, Jensen McRae and The Japanese House are among the support acts.
On SNL next week, The Strokes will be the musical guests on November 7, alongside host Druski. Phoebe Bridgers follows on November 14, with John Mulaney hosting.
