Morgan Wallen Brings Sand in My Boots Back for 2027 With Kings of Leon and Ella Langley
The festival returns to Gulf Shores, Alabama, May 21-23, 2027, after a year off. Wallen headlines with Kings of Leon and Ella Langley, topping a 33-act bill that runs from country to hip-hop to electronic music. Passes go on sale Friday.

Morgan Wallen is bringing Sand in My Boots back. He announced the 2027 lineup on Monday, and the festival returns to the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama, on May 21-23, 2027.
Wallen headlines alongside Kings of Leon and Ella Langley. The three acts top a 33-act lineup Wallen curated with AEG Presents.
The bill goes well past country. Kygo, Empire of the Sun, Nelly, Flo Rida, Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Juicy J, the Ying Yang Twins, Girl Talk and Third Eye Blind are all on it.
The country side of the lineup includes Koe Wetzel, Cole Swindell, Midland, Gavin Adcock, Hudson Westbrook, Kashus Culpepper, Carter Faith, Avery Anna, Kameron Marlowe, Corey Kent and Vincent Mason.
A return after a year off
Sand in My Boots made its sold-out debut in 2025 at the Hangout Festival site in Gulf Shores. There was no festival in 2026. The 2027 edition is the second one.
Langley played the inaugural festival and returns as a headliner. She comes in with “Choosin’ Texas,” which SPIN describes as a Billboard record-breaking hit that has spent 25 weeks and counting at No. 1.
Kings of Leon bring a catalog that now runs to 10 studio albums. The tenth, O My Beloved, comes out Friday, November 6.
“One thing I’m looking forward to the most about bringing Sand In My Boots Festival back is being able to have new concepts on stage and trying to elevate the experience overall for the fans, myself and other artists on the bill,” Wallen said in a statement. “I think it’s going to be really top-notch and we’re going to try to do it even better this time.”
Tickets
Festival passes go on sale Friday, November 6, at 10 a.m. CT. Registration for access is open now. The pass options are GA, Party Pit, VIP, Super VIP and Livin’ The Dream. Hotel packages are already available.
The festival pitches itself as a beach vacation as much as a concert weekend. Some pass tiers offer in-ground pools near the main stage, complimentary bars, gourmet food and private restrooms, according to SPIN.
It also carries a charitable arm. The Morgan Wallen Foundation donated more than $200,000 in instruments to five Alabama schools after the 2025 festival, SPIN reported. Since launching its Tour Give Back initiative, the foundation has contributed more than $2 million in instruments to schools in cities along Wallen’s touring itineraries.
For now, SPIN notes, Sand in My Boots is Wallen’s only announced 2027 performance. That could change. For the moment, the beach in Gulf Shores is where he plans to be next May.
