Weezer will return to Australia and New Zealand next year for The Gathering tour. The six-date run is the band's first headline tour of Australia in 14 years.
The tour opens February 24, 2027, at RAC Arena in Perth. It continues to AEC Arena in Adelaide on February 26, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on February 28, Afterpay Arena in Sydney on March 2, and the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 4. It closes March 7 at Spark Arena in Auckland.
Third Eye Blind and Fountains of Wayne will open every date. For Fountains of Wayne, the run is a New Zealand debut and a first trip back to Australia since 1999.
The tour follows the band's 2026 album, Weezer (Gold Album). The three bands' catalogs cover the 1990s and 2000s, from Weezer's "Buddy Holly" and "Island in the Sun" to Third Eye Blind's "Semi-Charmed Life" and Fountains of Wayne's "Stacy's Mom."
Weezer last played Australia as part of the Good Things festival in 2025. The band formed in Los Angeles in 1992 and has released 20 studio albums. It has won a Grammy Award and sold more than 35 million records worldwide.
