Netflix Drops 'The Hunting Wives' Season 2 Trailer, Sets November 26 Premiere
The eight-episode second season lands on Thanksgiving, with John Stamos and Angel Reese joining the cast — and Netflix has already renewed the show for a third season.

Netflix released the official season 2 trailer for The Hunting Wives on Tuesday, and set its return for November 26. The eight-episode season will land on Thanksgiving.
The new season picks up with Sophie and Margo on the outs. Old secrets and new foes pull the two women back together, and a fresh murder mystery comes with them. The season’s question: are they the hunters or the hunted?
Brittany Snow and Malin Åkerman return as the leads. Dermot Mulroney, Jaime Ray Newman and Evan Jonigkeit are back too. The new faces include John Stamos as Chase Brylan, an eccentric country singer, and Angel Reese as a college basketball trainer. Dale Dickey, Kim Matula, Cam Gigandet and Alex FitzAlan also join the season.
The show’s future is already set. Netflix renewed The Hunting Wives for a third season earlier this month, before season 2 even premiered. Creator and showrunner Rebecca Cutter told Netflix’s Tudum: “I promise that once you’ve finished Season 2, you’ll be desperate to see what happens next. Season 3 will be even more scandalous and twisted.”
The series started with May Cobb’s bestselling novel. Season 1, which arrived in July 2025, spent five weeks on Netflix’s global top-10 English-language TV list, peaked at No. 2 worldwide, hit No. 1 in the U.S., and has drawn more than 35 million views. The new seasons move past the book entirely.
Production for future seasons may leave North Carolina, where the first season shot, after changes to the state’s film incentive program.
