Netflix Renews 'Nobody Wants This' for Season 4
The Kristen Bell and Adam Brody comedy will return after its third season drew the biggest opening week of any returning comedy on the streamer.

Netflix has renewed Nobody Wants This for a fourth season. The company announced the pickup on Friday, a little more than two weeks after season three arrived on October 22.
The show stars Kristen Bell as Joanne, an agnostic podcaster, and Adam Brody as Noah, a rabbi. Season three ended with the two getting married in a surprise beach ceremony in Malibu, after Joanne completed her conversion to Judaism.
Season three had the largest opening week of any returning comedy series on Netflix, the company said. It drew 13.4 million views in its first two weeks.
“Great love stories never go out of style, and Nobody Wants This has become a true cultural phenomenon,” Tracey Pakosta, Netflix’s vice president of comedy series in the U.S., said in a statement. “This incredible creative team has built a show that grows with its audience, and our members around the world have embraced it season after season. We cannot be more excited for Season 4.”
Erin Foster created the series and runs it with Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan. “We are so happy and thrilled to do another season of our favorite show on television, which coincidentally is the one we run,” the three said in a joint statement.
The fourth season will film in Los Angeles, where the first three were shot. Netflix has not set a premiere date. No cast has been confirmed for the new season, though Bell and Brody are expected back, along with Justine Lupe and Timothy Simons.
A quick renewal, again
Netflix has moved fast after every season. Season two arrived in October 2025, and the season three pickup came less than two weeks later. The season four renewal followed the same pattern.
The show comes from 20th Television. With the pickup, it joins a small group of Netflix live-action comedies to reach a fourth season.
