Sam Fender has announced the Proper Massive Stadium Tour for summer 2027. The run is his biggest headline tour yet, and it starts where his story started: at home in Newcastle.

Fender announced the tour on Wednesday, October 21, at the end of a countdown on his official website. The tour is billed in support of his fourth studio album, which is also due in 2027 and is now open for pre-order.

The dates

The run opens with two nights at St. James’ Park in Newcastle, on June 3 and June 5. Fender first headlined the football ground in 2023, and returned for three nights there in 2025.

From Newcastle, the tour goes to Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on June 10, then to London for two nights at Wembley Stadium, on June 18 and June 20. Those are billed as his biggest headline shows to date.

July brings a date at Marlay Park in Dublin on July 1, then a headline slot at Rock Werchter in Belgium on July 3, his first European festival headline booking. The run continues at Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on July 8 and closes with two nights at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, on July 15 and July 17.

Wunderhorse support the UK stadium dates.

How tickets work

Fans who pre-order the fourth album from Fender’s official store before 9 a.m. GMT on Monday, October 26, get access to the presale. Presale codes go out by email by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, and the presale opens at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28. Tickets are limited to six per person, and a presale code does not guarantee a ticket.

General sale starts at 9:30 a.m. GMT on Friday, October 30, through samfender.com.

Where he stands

Fender comes into the tour off People Watching, his third album, released in 2025. It reached No. 1 in the UK and won the 2025 Mercury Prize. His duet with Olivia Dean, “Rein Me In,” became his first UK No. 1 single.

The tour name fits the scale of the announcement. Nine headline dates in six cities, plus a festival headline slot, is a step up from the arena runs that built his following. The Newcastle opening makes the point plainly: the biggest tour of his career starts in the city he sings about.
