Her representative confirmed the news to People on Tuesday. Saint James died on Monday after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Saint James won an Emmy in 1969 for her role as Peggy Maxwell on The Name of the Game. In the 1970s, she starred in McMillan & Wife. In the 1980s, she starred in Kate & Allie, which ran until 1989. She largely stepped away from acting after that series ended.
